Pedestrian bridge beam broke. They put in these temporary piers, now they want to repair the girders.A picture of one of the cracks in the ped bridge beam. This ped bridge (Meadow Creek Ped Bridge) was designed by R&M Consultants, Inc.Check this out. We got to Eklutna River Bridge at the Old Glen Highway, started inspecting and... "what is that noise??" Look down, and this truck is BACKING UP THE RIVER!!!!The license plate of the truck that was backing up the river.

Little Susitna RiverSOOOOOO tempting to call and report those idiots who drove up Eklutna River....spiffy little bridge huh? Another one that was hard to walk across...After spending over a week in the Valley, I was begining to wonder if they would revoke my Alaska Residency if I don't put one of these signs up. They were everywhere.

Hehe.... Uh, we of course "never" crossed the tracks when inspecting the railroad bridges. "never".My cow-orker's theory is "Run it may, Shine it must"....ANC has dozens of these screens in their new terminal, but no wireless internet access. WTF? Anyway, these screens are cool, they provide a lot of useful info. How do you get "Used Oxygen"? Oxygen is an element. It either is or is not oxygen. Found in ANC behind an Alaska Air counter.
